Why 3 months?
Vedic Meditation teacher training is unique in that it prioritises the state of consciousness of the teacher, not just the knowledge they carry. Repeating knowledge is one thing. Embodying it is another.
That's why this can't be done online, and it can't be done in 200 hours.
Three months of immersion, more than a thousand hours of training and an extended rounding process are what it takes to create masters of this practice.

3. FORMAL INTERVIEWS
You will then go through a more formal interview process with our course leaders which will help us to assess your suitability for the 2027/8 training.

Once we receive your application you will be invited to an informal interview with Matt to get to know each other and provide guidance to get you ready for the next stage.

Before attending our Teacher Training program there are a number of prerequisites that you'll need to complete to prepare you for the residential component.
Start exploring them now, you do not need to have completed them prior to applying for the training.

We will be requesting a deposit of $5000 AUD to confirm your place on the course. The remaining balance is to be paid before 6th October 2027.
We review applications on a rolling basis and invite applicants to interviews as they come in. Places are limited, so we encourage you to apply as soon as you feel ready.
No 😛 but don’t let this intimidate you, we promise you will enjoy the opportunity to be off-grid and totally immersed in the program.
We will not be judging individuals on personality attributes but on their experience of meditation, their ability to deal with ‘high Rounds’ and unstressing, completion of the prerequisites and intention for the training.
What personality attributes are not suitable for teacher training and are you able to give examples of some which may have stopped students from qualifying in the past?
As mentioned, there are none from our perspective. Previously people have been turned away from other VM Teacher Training based on their lifestyle choices, but this is not something we will be implementing.
Yes. Our aim is for every trainee to graduate as a teacher. We take responsibility for supporting you through the testing processes and the high rounds, with round-the-clock access to your course leaders for mentoring and emotional support.
If for whatever reason life / money / charm get in the way from entering in Dec 2027, is it known if/when the next training will commence?
We are unsure if we will run another training in Dec 2028, but there will definitely be one in Dec 2029.
